We arrived home at 10pm on January 1st. We had been up for 43 hours! We are so thankful to be home. We all slept soundly in our own beds.
The first order of business for us (after washing our clothes) will be to sponsor a Ugandan child through World Vision. The second priority is to begin raising $1,100 to put a roof on the school in the slum.
After that, who knows? But there is no doubt that the Pearce's will be profoundly impacted by what we saw and experienced over the last 10 days. I'm fairly certain that I will not be complaining about what I don't have for a long, long time.
